World Premieres at the Teatro de São Carlos During its First 50 Years
Resumo
A noção aparentemente simples de «estreia absoluta», quando se refere à ópera de finais de setecentos e princípios de oitocentos, não deveria ser entendida como algo absoluto. Devido à prática de se acrescentar e substituir material, em quase todas as produções de ópera deste período era apresentada música que só nessa ocasião era estreada.
